THE RESURRECTION
terra Cotta relief
17.3/4" X 16.1/2" X 3.1/2"
$9,000.

Patrick's one of kind, antic patina, terra Cotta, haut relief "Resurrection," sculpture: 17.3/4" X 16.1/2" X 3.1/2" was inspired by Titian, tiziano Vecelli: 1477-1576, Ttian Da Cadore, Titian from Cadore.., Titian himself had been inspired by an unfinished painting from a master of the previous century: Giorgione De Castel - Franco. Titian found many unfinished Giorgione's paintings in the now deceased master's studio. Titian finished his paintings.
Titian later executed in 1530 the etching that Patrick used as a model and inspiration for his haut relief sculpture.
The etching as well as other Titian's paintings can be seen at the Santa-Maria Della Salute near Venice in Italy.
This very powerful sculpture reflects the artist's 'Renaissance' expression at its best.
